Please ensure that "Airplane Mode" is enabled on your device(s) before take-off.

When the aircraft reaches cruising altitude, open your Wi-Fi settings and connect to "MHconnect".

To enjoy unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi, follow the steps on the screen and provide your email address. That's it. You're now connected.

At least 60 minutes before your flight, drop off any check-in baggage you have at the baggage drop counter.

At security, present your boarding pass and identification card or passport. Then head to the gate. (Boarding gate closes 30 minutes before departure).

Put your feet up and get ready for your Malaysia Airlines flight experience! While you wait, we suggest shopping at MHshop or relaxing in our Golden Lounge.

MHconnect is currently available on the following aircraft, with ongoing enhancements to expand Wi-Fi connectivity across our fleet: •⁠ ⁠All A350-900 •⁠ ⁠All A330-900 •⁠ ⁠All Boeing 737-8 •⁠ ⁠Selected A330-300, A330-200 A pop-up message will appear on the in-flight entertainment screen after take-off to let you know that Wi-Fi is now available on board. We recommend that the auto-update feature and any applications running in the background of your device be disabled before connecting to the Wi-Fi. Please note that the internet speed and capacities on board may vary as it is dependent on several factors such as weather conditions, territorial regulations, satellite coverage, number of concurrent users, as well as the type of activity performed on the device. Malaysia Airlines does not guarantee that in-flight connectivity will be glitch-free, and may suspend services at any time during the flight for security or other reasons. Malaysia Airlines will not be held responsible for any loss of data or damage to a passenger’s devices. Please read our MHconnect “Terms & Conditions” below.

⁠MHconnect is available on all A350-900, Boeing 737-8 aircraft, and selected A330 aircraft. Mobile roaming services are available on selected A350 and A330 aircraft. Your phone will be automatically connected to the Mobile Roaming Network. If you do not wish to connect to mobile roaming on the plane, please turn off your phone and data roaming. Roaming charges for text messages, voice calls, and other data services are determined by your local mobile service provider. To get the most out of your mobile data and Wi-Fi, please turn off any automatic downloads or updates on your phone before using MHconnect. Please note that the internet connection speed and capacity in the cabin varies from what they are on the ground. Malaysia Airlines does not guarantee that in-flight connectivity will be fault-free, and may suspend services at any time during the flight for security or other reasons. Malaysia Airlines shall not be held responsible for any loss of data or damage to a passenger’s devices. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
