To receive your tickets, you will need to check in online at https://check-in.accesrail.com/#/step1 within 72 hours before your departure. Please indicate your name and one of the following: your booking reference or 13-digit ticket number. You may download or print your tickets for boarding. Once you're checked in, you'll receive two tickets: your GWR train ticket and your Heathrow Express ticket, which will take you between Heathrow Airport and London Paddington Station. Please note that the Heathrow Express departs every 15 minutes and it will only take another 15 minutes of your time to reach London Paddington Station.
Luggage: Please be aware that you're responsible for managing your own luggage, including collecting it from the airport and transferring it to the train. On-board Meals: If you're travelling in First Class on certain GWR trains, you can enjoy complimentary food and drinks served right at your seat. You can choose from tea, coffee, juices, sodas, water, biscuits, cakes, and crisps. However, please note that this service isn't available on routes between Penzance and Cardiff/Gloucester, Paddington and Newbury/Bedwyn, or Paddington and Oxford/Reading to Gatwick. Mobility Assistance: For assistance, you may need to request it from GWR at least 2 hours before your train departs. Their Passenger Assistance Team is available 24/7 (except on December 25 and 26). You can make a request by filling out their assistance form online, calling +0800 197 1329, or texting +18001 0800 197 1329. Delays: If your train is delayed, you may contact us for assistance. In case your flight is delayed, fret not - you can take any train on the date shown on your ticket. Eligibility: Infants under 2 years old can travel for free without a seat if accompanied by an adult. Child fare is available for those under 16 years of age. Group bookings and staff discounts are not available. Refunds are subject to airline rules. Pets: If you're travelling with a pet, you may bring up to two pets. 1. What is MHrail? MHrail is a bundled product that combines Malaysia Airlines tickets with rail tickets. 2. How is AccesRail related to MHrail? Accesrail is our MHrail partner that helps connect our passengers to domestic destinations in the United Kingdom and South Korea. 3. What are the benefits offered under MHrail? Enhances air-rail connectivity in major international hubs like Seoul (ICN) and London, Heathrow (LHR). Enables customers to combine air tickets with train trips, enlarging the current coverage of Malaysia Airlines’ network. Provides customers with the ability to easily book their connecting train services in one single purchase. If an inbound flight disruption leads to a missed connection for the already-booked train, the operating carrier will re-allocate the coupon and arrange for you to be placed on the next available train. 4. Who is eligible for the MHrail fares? All Malaysia Airlines passengers who wish to travel to the United Kingdom and South Korea. 5. Who will benefit from the MHrail programme? Passengers who wish to travel within the United Kingdom and South Korea, with connection points at Malaysia Airlines’ hubs such as London Heathrow Airport and Incheon International Airport. 6. Which cabin classes are eligible for MHrail bookings? MHrail bookings are available for Business and Economy Class cabins. 8. How or where can I purchase MHrail tickets? Tickets are available for purchase on Malaysia Airlines’ official website. Search for the city of departure and your destination, and select the class of service (currently the class of service is only available for flights). Select your itinerary and purchase one ticket that includes both modes of transport. 9. Will there be one or two tickets for the MHrail booking? There will be one combined ticket in a single transaction. 10. How can I travel with a combined MHrail ticket? Upon confirmation of purchase, you will receive one e-ticket consisting of your PNR and other ticket details. Check-in for flights You are advised to check-in via malaysiaairlines.com 48 hours prior to the flight departure time. Once you have completed the process, you will receive your e-boarding pass. For a physical boarding pass and baggage drop, please proceed to our check-in counter. Check-in for trains Login to the accesrail site, enter your e-ticket number or Malaysia Airlines PNR together with your first / last name to check-in. Once you have completed the process, you will receive the boarding card for your trip. You are required to check-in 72 hours prior to your train departure time. You have the right to carry with you the same baggage that you carry on the plane. You are responsible for picking up and transporting your baggage during the transfer from the plane to the train and vice versa. To avoid missing your flight connection, we recommend that you arrive at the airport at least two (2) hours before your flight’s departure time. 11. With MHrail, can I check-in for my flight at the train station? No, you will need to check-in for your flight online via malaysiaairlines.com or via our mobile app. Alternatively, you may check-in at the airport at least two (2) hours before your flight departure time. 12. Can I purchase MHrail tickets for myself and an infant at the same time? Currently, tickets for adults and children are available for purchase, but for infants, Kindly reach out to Malaysia Airlines Call Centre or Ticket Office for assistance 13. Can I earn Enrich points with MHrail? You will only earn Enrich points for your flight ticket. 14. Can I use Enrich points to purchase MHrail tickets? Enrich points cannot be used to purchase MHrail tickets as it only applies to Malaysia Airlines flights. 15. Can I request for additional assistance with MHrail bookings? For the plane trip, if you require assistance, please contact Malaysia Airlines customer service directly. For the train trip, the arrangement of additional assistance services in special situations, such as travelling with unaccompanied minors, pets or service animals, depends on the individual rules and regulations of the train company operating the service. In addition, travellers who require additional assistance with wheelchairs or other medical equipment should consult the guidelines belonging to the specific train operator. If you are using a wheelchair or an unaccompanied minor service provided by Malaysia Airlines for your flight, please note that this service is not available outside the airport baggage claim area. 16. For your train trip, it will be automatically assigned when you check-in at the accesrail website. 27. I wish to only purchase a one-way ticket. Can I still get MHrail fares? Yes, you will be eligible for MHrail fares for a one-way ticket. 28. For MHrail bookings – what should I do if my flight or train is delayed and / or cancelled? Flight delayed/Cancelled If you miss your scheduled train because of a delayed flight. The Airlines will assist you and print you a new ticket for the next available train. Train delayed/Cancelled If you miss your connecting flight due to a train delay, please notify the airline ticket office at the airport to receive a new airline ticket and to be automatically rebooked on the next available flight. 29. In the event of a flight disruption, what will be the course of action for MHrail passengers? In the event of a flight disruption, Malaysia Airlines will reaccommodate passengers according to the next flight and train availability. 30. What happens in the event of "No Show" for MHrail passengers?
