Malaysia Airlines encourages passengers to self check-in during the peak period
Sepang, 27 November 2015: As passenger traffic is expected to be heavy during the holiday season, Malaysia Airlines encourages passengers to use the self check-in kiosks available to avoid long queues at the airport.
Passengers can also choose to check in via web on www.malaysiaairlines.com or MHmobile at flymas.mobi.
Malaysia Airlines’ web check-in facility is open from 48 hours up until 90 minutes before flight departure. The web check-in facility is however not applicable for travel from Bandar Seri Begawan, Xiamen, and code share flights operated by partner carriers.
Self check-in is mandatory for Economy class passengers travelling on domestic routes.
Passengers who are unable to check-in prior to arriving at the airport, may do so at the self service check-in kiosks available at KL International Airport (KLIA) and other domestic airports as well.First and Business Class passengers who wish to self check-in may do so through any of the options available.
Besides the flexibility and convenience, the self-service check in options can be a great way for passengers to save time on their journey. After their self check in, customers can proceed to the designated bag drop counters to hand over their checked-in baggage or immediately enter the departure gate (for those without checked-in baggage)
