Entry Restrictions to Philippines
Effective 11 May 2020, all passengers arriving in the Philippines are required to undergo COVID-19 test as well as quarantine procedures in approved facilities.
Payment for accommodation in quarantine are as follows:
For returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWS), the cost will be borne by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
For non-overseas Filipino returning home, they may choose the accommodation and bear the cost on their own.
Passengers must fill out the Case Investigation Form available at: http://ritm.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/COVID-19-Form-1.pdf, upon arrival in the Philippines.
Since 22 March 2020, all foreign nationals and passengers holding the following visa types will not be allowed entry into the Philippines.
- Visa Waiver Agreement (AJACS, AJACSSUK, FSC, MCL series)
- Special Visas (SRRV, SIRV, ABTC, and economic zone visas etc.)
- Executive Order No. 408, s. 1960 (EO408)
- Holders of Hong-Kong-SAR, Macau-SAR, Macau Portuguese, and British National Overseas passport.
Exceptions to this ruling include foreign spouses and children of Filipino nationals, those holding visas issued to foreign government, International Organization officials accredited to the Philippines and foreign crew members.
Malaysia Airlines flies to one (1) destination in the Philippines, namely Manila.
