Police Approval for Interstate Travel during Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO)
Passengers travelling to/from states under the CMCO are required to provide a valid written approval and stamped letter from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) prior to crossing any airport checkpoints and departure.
This is in accordance to Rule 6(3) in the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) (No. 5) Regulations 2020 dated 12th May 2020, which stipulates anyone having to travel from one area of infection to another or crossing state borders to obtain written approval from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) prior to travelling, by land or air travel.
Any letter or document issued by other individuals, companies or government agencies besides PDRM, will not be accepted.
