Malaysia Airlines Launches “We Are Malaysia” Video in Conjunction with 59th Malaysia Day
KLIA, 16 September 2022: As the country marks its 59th anniversary of Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines today debuts a special one-minute “We Are Malaysia” video across all Malaysia Airlines’ official social media platforms.
Conceptualised and produced in-house, the video showcases the poignant message of unity and the country’s rich diversity that is home to numerous cultures, languages, religions and ethnicities apt with the central theme of this year’s historic occasion #KeluargaMalaysiaTeguhBersama.
The video whips up the spirit of patriotism by featuring employees and frontliners from across the airline’s sister companies in the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), with unique ethnicities and cultures background, as well as their friends and family.
The video also portrays the richness of Malaysian cultural heritage through a unique onboardannouncement made in various languages including English, Tamil, Mandarin, Iban, Kadazan and Bahasa Malaysia representing the country's diversity of races and ethnicities from all over Malaysia. The video is accessible across all Malaysia Airlines’ social media platforms.

In KL International Airport, MAG organised a walkabout participated by employees donning traditional costumes from multi-ethnicities. Passengers were also given special gifts, including specially made cookies decorated with the pride of our Malaysia flag.
