Relocation of Malaysia Airlines Check-in Counters at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)

Malaysia Airlines moves HKG check-in counters to Aisle H from 15 June 2026. Check details and updates.

Effective 15 June 2026, Malaysia Airlines’ check-in counters at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) will be relocated within Terminal 1 from Aisle E to H (Level 7). Passengers travelling with Malaysia Airlines are advised to proceed to the new check-in location at Aisle H for all departure check-in and baggage drop services. Flight Information Display Screens (FIDS) will continue to provide the latest counter assignment and flight details. There will be no change to the check-in counter operating hours, which remain open three (3) hours before the scheduled departure and close sixty (60) minutes before departure. Passengers are strongly encouraged to arrive early to allow sufficient time for check-in and security clearance. For added convenience, passengers are encouraged to check in online via the Malaysia Airlines mobile app or website prior to arrival at the airport. Passengers are also reminded to update their contact details under “My Booking” on the Malaysia Airlines website to ensure they receive timely flight updates via email and SMS.
