Temporary Adjustment to Check-In Operations at KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT), KL Sentral
KL CAT check-in adjusted from July–Dec 2026. Self check-in encouraged; KLIA T1 fully operational.
Malaysia Airlines wishes to inform passengers that the assisted check-in counter operations at the KL City Air Terminal (KL CAT), KL Sentral will be temporarily adjusted from 1 July 2026 until 31 December 2026 , as part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to enhance self-service capabilities and improve operational efficiency. Passengers are encouraged to complete web or mobile check-in prior to arriving at the airport for a faster and more seamless travel experience. At KL CAT, passengers may also utilise the available self-service facilities, including: Self-service check-in kiosks Self-bag drop (SBD) facilities During this period, one (1) assisted check-in counter will remain available daily from 6.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. to serve Business Class and eligible Priority passengers , while continuing to support Economy Class passengers when required. For passengers who require full check-in assistance, all check-in counters remain available at KLIA Terminal 1 (KLIA T1). Passengers are advised to arrive at least three (3) hours prior to departure to allow sufficient time for check-in, security screening and travel document verification. Malaysia Airlines remains committed to providing a seamless and efficient travel experience and appreciates passengers’ understanding and continued support during this temporary adjustment.
