The Boeing 737-8 embodies our enduring commitment to comfort, Malaysian Hospitality, and elevated travel. Thanks to its fuel-efficient engines, the aircraft offers a quieter, smoother and more comfortable journey from takeoff to landing.
Sustainable flying. Each flight taken on the 737-8 is more sustainable than our current NG, burning less fuel, creating a smaller noise footprint and more. Introducing all-new, fuel-efficient engines, this aircraft has a CO₂ emission reduction of 20%, effectively reducing annual emissions by the equivalent of 196,000 trees. The new advanced technology winglets go a long way towards reducing the aircraft’s fuel consumption. Increasing lift, reducing drag and with a more effective wingspan, these winglets alone increase fuel savings by 2%. The 737-8 also makes a 50% smaller community noise footprint, meeting latest noise and emissions standards. This means quieter flying, providing an all-around more comfortable flight for passengers in the cabin as well as less disturbance for the aircraft’s surroundings during take-off and landing.
