Terms and Conditions The terms and conditions contained herein (these "Terms and Conditions") shall govern the "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" challenge on the Strava Challenge app and the related "Ride to Melbourne" campaign mechanics (the "Campaign"). By participating in the Campaign, Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 1. GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1. The Campaign is organised by Malaysia Airlines Berhad ("Malaysia Airlines" or the "Promoter"). The Campaign comprises the following components: a Strava challenge listed as "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" on the Strava Challenge app; MHsports registration and verification mechanics; promotional reward redemptions; and a grand prize winner selection for the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience for eligible Participants. 1.2. The Campaign registration and challenge period shall run from 31 July 2026 until 28 August 2026, unless otherwise extended, amended or terminated by Malaysia Airlines at its sole discretion. 1.3. The prize fulfilment period is tentatively scheduled between December 2026 and January 2027, subject to final scheduling, availability, operational requirements, travel requirements and any changes determined by Malaysia Airlines. 1.4. All Campaign dates, mechanics, rewards, prizes, fulfilment timelines and arrangements are subject to Malaysia Airlines’ final confirmation and may be amended at Malaysia Airlines’ sole discretion. 2. ELIGIBILITY 2.1. To participate in the Campaign and to be considered for the winner selection pool, Participants must meet all of the following requirements: be aged eighteen (18) years and above at the time of participation; • hold a valid Strava account throughout the Campaign Period; join the official "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" on the Strava Challenge app during the Campaign Period; log their distance through the official "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" Strava Challenge; complete the minimum required distance of 6.5 kilometres under the official "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" Strava Challenge; submit their personal details and Strava username on the designated Campaign page; • complete the MHsports registration process, including receiving the verification email; and comply with all Campaign mechanics, requirements and these Terms and Conditions. 2.2. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted details are accurate, complete and consistent with their Strava account and MHsports registration details. 2.3. Each Participant is eligible for one (1) entry only, based on one registered email address and one Strava username. 2.4. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify the eligibility of any Participant and to disqualify any Participant found to have submitted incomplete, false, misleading, fraudulent, manipulated, duplicated or suspicious information or participation records. 3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE Step 1 - Join "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" on Strava 3.1. Participants must have or create a valid Strava account and join the official "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" on the Strava Challenge app during the Campaign Period. 3.2. Participants must ensure that their Strava profile remains public throughout the Campaign Period and until the winner verification process has been completed to allow Malaysia Airlines and/or its appointed agency to cross reference and verify the submitted activity. 3.3. Participants must record and log their activities via Strava during the Campaign Period and achieve a minimum cumulative distance of 6.5 kilometres. 3.4. Only activities successfully tracked and reflected on Strava during the Campaign Period will be counted. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to exclude any activity that appears incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, manipulated, unsafe or suspicious. Step 3 - Submit Campaign Details 3.5. Participants must submit all required personal details and their Strava username on the designated Campaign page. The submitted details must match the Participant’s Strava and MHsports registration details for verification purposes. Step 4 - Register for MHsports 3.6. Participants must register as an MHsports member via the designated Malaysia Airlines / MHsports registration page and complete the required verification process, including receiving the verification email. Step 5 - Unlock Promotional Rewards and Winner Selection Pool 3.7. Participants who complete the applicable Campaign steps may unlock promotional rewards, subject to verification and the reward conditions stated in these Terms and Conditions. 3.8. Participants who complete all required Campaign steps and meet all eligibility criteria will be included in the pool of eligible Participants for the "Ride to Melbourne" winner selection. 3.9. Completion of the Campaign steps does not guarantee selection as a winner. Winners will be selected in accordance with Section 5 below. 4. REWARDS AND GRAND PRIZE Promotional Rewards 4.1. Participants who successfully complete the minimum distance requirement of 6.5 kilometres may receive a unique promotional discount code offering fifteen per cent (15%) off eligible Malaysia Airlines flight bookings. 4.2. Participants who successfully complete and verify their MHsports registration may receive a unique promotional discount code offering ten per cent (10%) off eligible Malaysia Airlines flight bookings. 4.3. Promotional discount codes are subject to availability and to the applicable terms, conditions, fare rules, booking classes, blackout dates, seat availability and redemption validity periods determined by Malaysia Airlines. 4.4. All promotional discount codes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or other alternatives. Promotional discount codes may only be redeemed in accordance with Malaysia Airlines’ specified booking terms and conditions. 4.5. The booking period for promotional discount codes ends on 30 October 2026, unless otherwise amended by Malaysia Airlines. "Ride to Melbourne" Grand Prize Experience 4.6. Five (5) winners will be selected to participate in the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience, subject to verification, availability, travel requirements and Malaysia Airlines’ final confirmation. 4.7. The prize experience is tentatively scheduled between December 2026 and January 2027, subject to the final itinerary, operational requirements and the availability of Dato’ Azizulhasni Awang. 4.8. The "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience will be for a maximum duration of four (4) days and three (3) nights, unless otherwise confirmed by Malaysia Airlines in writing. The final duration, dates, schedule and itinerary shall be determined by Malaysia Airlines at its sole discretion. 4.9. The prize experience may include the following, where applicable: return Malaysia Airlines flight tickets to Melbourne; hotel accommodation for the confirmed prize experience duration; ground transportation in Melbourne in accordance with the official itinerary; and participation in Campaign-related activities in Melbourne. 4.10. Malaysia Airlines will only cover the approved prize inclusions for the maximum confirmed stay under the official itinerary. Any additional stay, extension, changes to travel arrangements, personal expenses or costs incurred outside the official itinerary shall be arranged and borne solely by the selected winners. 4.11. Meals will be at the winners’ own cost, unless otherwise stated in the official itinerary. Breakfast may be provided where included as part of the hotel accommodation arrangement. Supplementary snacks and drinking water may also be provided during the cycling activity for refreshment purposes only. 4.12. To redeem flight support, a winner’s point of origin must be from Malaysia Airlines’ operating stations only, being Kuala Lumpur (KUL) or London Heathrow (LHR), unless otherwise confirmed by Malaysia Airlines in writing. 4.13. Any domestic, connecting, positioning or other travel required for a winner to reach KUL, LHR, Melbourne Airport Terminal 2 (T2) or the designated event hotel shall be arranged and borne solely by the winner, unless otherwise expressly confirmed by Malaysia Airlines in writing. 4.14. Flight tickets are subject to seat availability, applicable travel periods, blackout dates, fare rules and Malaysia Airlines’ ticketing conditions. Malaysia Airlines does not guarantee preferred flight dates, flight times, routes, booking classes or seat availability. 4.15. Prize details, travel dates, itinerary, inclusions, arrangements and any related activities are subject to final confirmation and may be amended, substituted, postponed or cancelled by Malaysia Airlines at its sole discretion. Cycling Equipment 4.16. Winners are responsible for bringing their own cycling equipment, including bicycles, helmets and any other equipment required for participation in the "Ride to Melbourne" cycling activities. 4.17. All equipment must comply with Malaysia Airlines’ applicable baggage allowance, size, weight, packaging and carriage requirements. Any excess baggage charges, special handling fees, packaging costs or other expenses associated with transporting such equipment shall be borne solely by the winner. 4.18. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to refuse participation in any cycling activity where the equipment used is deemed unsafe, unsuitable or non-compliant with applicable safety or event requirements. Australia-Based Winners 4.19. For winners residing in Australia, the prize package shall commence from the designated rendezvous point in Melbourne. 4.20. Australia-based winners are responsible for arranging and bearing all costs associated with travel from their place of residence to either Melbourne Airport Terminal 2 (T2) or the designated event hotel in Melbourne, as communicated by Malaysia Airlines prior to the trip. 4.21. Malaysia Airlines’ responsibility and the prize entitlement shall commence only upon the winner’s arrival at the designated rendezvous point. Prize Exclusions and Conditions 4.22. Any expenses not specifically stated as included in the prize shall be borne solely by the winner. This includes, but is not limited to, passport costs, visa costs, meals, personal expenses, excess baggage charges, additional activities, incidental costs, optional or additional insurance and any other costs not expressly confirmed as included by Malaysia Airlines. 4.23. For the avoidance of doubt, the travel insurance arranged by Malaysia Airlines for the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience shall be subject to Section 10 and the applicable insurance policy terms, conditions, exclusions and coverage limits. 4.24. All rewards and prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or other alternatives. 4.25. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to substitute, amend, vary, postpone or cancel any reward, prize, itinerary, activity or arrangement with another item or arrangement of similar value without prior notice. 5. WINNER SELECTION 5.1. To be eligible for the "Ride to Melbourne" winner selection pool, Participants must complete all required Campaign steps below: log their distance through the official "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" Strava Challenge; complete the minimum required distance of 6.5 kilometres under the official "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" Strava Challenge; ensure their Strava profile account is kept public during the Campaign Period and winner verification period to allow Malaysia Airlines and/or its appointed agency to cross-reference and verify the submitted activity; submit their personal details and Strava username on the designated Campaign page; complete the full MHsports registration process, including receiving the verification email; ensure all submitted details are accurate and match their Strava and MHsports registration details; and • comply with these Terms and Conditions and any requirements communicated by Malaysia Airlines. 5.2. Participants who complete all required steps and meet all applicable criteria will be included in the pool of eligible Participants for the winner selection. 5.3. Five (5) winners will be randomly selected from the eligible pool, based on completion of all required Campaign steps and criteria. The final winner selection shall be made at Malaysia Airlines’ sole discretion. 5.4. Each Participant is only eligible for one (1) entry, based on one registered email address and one Strava username. 5.5. Selected winners will be subject to Australia entry eligibility and travel requirements, including visa approval where applicable. 5.6. Winners are fully responsible for ensuring that they meet all travel, visa, passport, health and entry requirements for Australia. 5.7. Winners must reside in, or travel from, the participating countries, namely Malaysia, the United Kingdom or Australia. 5.8. To redeem flight support, the winner’s point of origin must be from Malaysia Airlines’ operating stations only, being KUL or LHR, unless otherwise approved by Malaysia Airlines in writing. 5.9. Flight tickets are subject to seat availability, applicable travel periods, blackout dates and Malaysia Airlines’ ticketing conditions. 5.10. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or selected winner who is found to have submitted false, incomplete, duplicated, inaccurate, manipulated, misleading or suspicious information or participation records. 5.11. In the event a selected winner is disqualified, fails verification, does not meet the travel requirements or fails to respond within the stipulated timeline, Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to select another eligible winner from the eligible pool. 5.12. Malaysia Airlines’ decision on all matters relating to winner selection shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence or appeals shall be entertained. 6. NOTIFICATION 6.1. Selected winners may be notified via email, telephone call, direct message or any other communication channel deemed appropriate by Malaysia Airlines. 6.2. Selected winners must respond to Malaysia Airlines within two (2) weeks from the date of notification, or within any other timeframe as may be communicated by Malaysia Airlines. 6.3. Failure to respond within the stipulated timeline may result in disqualification, and Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to select another eligible winner as a replacement. 6.4. Malaysia Airlines shall not be responsible for any failure, delay or inability to contact a selected winner due to incomplete, inaccurate, inactive or incorrect contact details submitted by the Participant. 7. VERIFICATION 7.1. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to request any information or documentation necessary to verify a Participant’s or selected winner’s eligibility, including but not limited to proof of: identity; age; residency or country of travel origin; passport validity; visa or Australia entry eligibility, visa or Australia entry eligibility, where applicable; MHsports registration; Strava participation records; and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. 7.2. Failure to provide the required information or documentation within the stipulated timeframe may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize without compensation. 8. PUBLICITY, CONTENT AND MEDIA RIGHTS 8.1. By participating in the Campaign and accepting any reward or prize, Participants, winners and accompanying guests agree that Malaysia Airlines may photograph, film, record and otherwise capture their name, image, likeness, voice, social media content, photographs, video recordings and participation in the Campaign and any related activities. 8.2. Participants, winners and accompanying guests grant Malaysia Airlines a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable and non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, edit, adapt and communicate such content for promotional, publicity, marketing, advertising, corporate communications and other related purposes in any media or platform now known or subsequently developed, without further compensation or approval. 8.3. Participants, winners and accompanying guests acknowledge and agree that Malaysia Airlines may continue to use such content for such period as Malaysia Airlines reasonably deems necessary for its promotional, marketing, corporate communications and archival purposes. 9. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY 9.1. Malaysia Airlines shall process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection laws and regulations. 9.2. Personal data collected may be used for Campaign administration, Participant verification, reward fulfilment, prize fulfilment, marketing communications and promotional purposes related to the Campaign. 9.3. By participating in this Campaign, Participants consent to the collection, processing and use of their personal data for the purposes stated in these Terms and Conditions. Malaysia Airlines’ Privacy Policy applies. 10. HEALTH, FITNESS, SAFETY AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS 10.1. Participants acknowledge that participation in the "MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines" and the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience may involve physical activities, physical exertion and inherent risks. 10.2. By participating in the Campaign, Participants represent and warrant that they are medically and physically fit to take part in all available activities under the Campaign, and that they have not been advised against participating by any qualified medical practitioner. 10.3. Winners may be required to sign additional waivers, acknowledgements, releases or participation forms before participating in the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience or any related activities. 10.4. Winners and their accompanying guests must comply with all safety instructions, venue rules, event guidelines, travel requirements and reasonable directions issued by Malaysia Airlines, event organisers, venue operators, coaches, officials or authorised representatives throughout the prize experience. 10.5. Winners and their accompanying guests participating in the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience will be covered under travel insurance arranged by Malaysia Airlines through its appointed insurance provider, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions and coverage limits of the relevant insurance policy. 10.6. The insurance coverage will apply for the duration of the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience, commencing from the winners’ approved point of origin, throughout the stay in Melbourne, and until their return to the approved point of origin, subject to the terms of the insurance policy. 10.7. In the event of any emergency, health issue, accident or incident occurring during the "Ride to Melbourne" prize experience, any applicable insurance claim or coverage shall be subject to assessment and approval by the appointed insurance provider in accordance with the insurance policy terms. 10.8. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate the participation of any individual whose conduct is deemed unsafe, non-compliant, disruptive or likely to endanger themselves or others. 11. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 11.1. By participating in the Campaign, Participants agree to release and hold harmless Malaysia Airlines, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities or expenses arising out of or in connection with participation in the Campaign or acceptance, use or misuse of any reward or prize. 11.2. Malaysia Airlines shall not be liable for any technical disruptions, system failures, Strava platform interruptions, lost or delayed submissions, incomplete entries, incorrect information, travel disruptions, changes in travel requirements or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. 11.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. 12. GENERAL CONDITIONS 12.1. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to amend, vary, postpone, suspend, cancel or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice. 12.2. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to modify the Campaign mechanics, rewards, eligibility requirements, winner selection process, prize structure, travel arrangements or any other Campaign-related matter at its sole discretion. 12.3. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or who is found to have engaged in conduct that is unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, offensive, disruptive or damaging to the reputation or goodwill of Malaysia Airlines or its partners. 12.4. Any unlawful or criminal conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities. 12.5. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or any reasonable directions provided by Malaysia Airlines may result in forfeiture of any reward or prize without compensation. 13. GOVERNING LAW 13.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. 14. FINAL DECISIONS 14.1. Malaysia Airlines’ decision on all matters relating to the Campaign, including eligibility, verification, winner selection, prize fulfilment and interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence or appeals shall be entertained. 15. MISCELLANEOUS 15.1. These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent terms contained in any promotional, advertising or communication materials relating to the Campaign. 15.2. These Terms and Conditions are prepared in the English language. Any translation is provided for convenience only, and the English version shall prevail in the event of inconsistency. 15.3. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 15.4. Any dietary requirements or medical conditions should be communicated to Malaysia Airlines in advance. Malaysia Airlines shall not be liable should suitable arrangements be unavailable where prior notice was not provided.
