These Terms and Conditions govern the “MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines” on the Strava Challenge app, including the promotional rewards and the “Ride to Melbourne” prize experience referred to collectively as the “Campaign”. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 1. Campaign Information 1.1. The Campaign is organised by Malaysia Airlines Berhad, referred to as “Malaysia Airlines” or the “Promoter”. 1.2. The Campaign comprises: a. the “MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines” on Strava; b. MHsports registration and verification; c. promotional flight discount rewards; and d. the selection of eligible Participants for the “Ride to Melbourne” prize experience. 1.3. Campaign Period The Campaign registration and challenge period runs from 31 July 2026 until 28 August 2026, unless otherwise extended, amended or terminated by Malaysia Airlines. 1.4. Prize Fulfilment Period The “Ride to Melbourne” prize experience is tentatively scheduled between December 2026 and January 2027, subject to final scheduling, operational requirements, travel requirements and availability. 1.5. All Campaign dates, mechanics, rewards, prize arrangements and fulfilment timelines are subject to final confirmation by Malaysia Airlines. 2. Eligibility 2.1. To participate in the Campaign and qualify for the winner selection pool, Participants must: a. be aged eighteen years or above at the time of participation; b. hold a valid Strava account throughout the Campaign Period; c. join the official “MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines” on Strava during the Campaign Period; d. record their activity through the official Strava Challenge; e. complete a minimum cumulative distance of 6.5 kilometres during the Campaign Period; f. submit the required personal details and Strava username through the designated Campaign page; g. complete the MHsports registration and verification process; and h. comply with all Campaign requirements and these Terms and Conditions. 2.2. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate, complete and consistent with their Strava and MHsports registration details. 2.3. Each Participant is entitled to one entry only, based on one registered email address and one Strava username. 2.4. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any Participant and to disqualify any entry that contains false, incomplete, duplicated, inaccurate, misleading, manipulated, fraudulent or suspicious information or activity records. 3. How to Participate Step 1: Join the MHsports Challenge on Strava 3.1. Participants must have or create a valid Strava account and join the official “MHsports Challenge by Malaysia Airlines” during the Campaign Period. 3.2. Participants must ensure that their Strava profile remains public throughout the Campaign Period and until the winner verification process has been completed. This is required to allow Malaysia Airlines and its appointed agency, where applicable, to cross reference and verify the Participant’s activity. Step 2: Complete the Challenge 3.3. Participants must record their activities through Strava during the Campaign Period and complete a minimum cumulative distance of 6.5 kilometres. 3.4. Only activities successfully recorded and reflected on Strava during the Campaign Period will be counted. 3.5. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to exclude any activity that appears incomplete, duplicated, inaccurate, manipulated, unsafe or suspicious. Step 3: Submit Campaign Details 3.6. Participants must submit all required personal details and their Strava username through the designated Campaign page. 3.7. The submitted information must correspond with the Participant’s Strava and MHsports registration details for verification purposes. Step 4: Register for MHsports 3.8. Participants must register as an MHsports member through the designated Malaysia Airlines MHsports registration page and complete the required verification process. Step 5: Unlock Promotional Rewards and Winner Eligibility 3.9. Participants who complete the applicable Campaign requirements may be eligible to receive promotional rewards, subject to verification and the conditions set out in Section 4. 3.10. Participants who complete all required Campaign steps and meet all eligibility requirements will be included in the eligible pool for the “Ride to Melbourne” winner selection. 3.11. Completion of the Campaign does not guarantee selection as a winner. 4. Promotional Flight Discount 4.1. Promotional Reward Participants who meet the applicable Campaign requirements may receive a Malaysia Airlines promotional code. The applicable discount will depend on the promotional reward received by the Participant. Participants who successfully complete the minimum distance requirement of 6.5 kilometres may be eligible for a promotional discount of 15% on eligible Malaysia Airlines flight bookings. Participants who successfully complete and verify their MHsports registration may be eligible for a promotional discount of 10% on eligible Malaysia Airlines flight bookings. 4.2. Booking Period The promotional code is valid for eligible bookings made from: 23 July 2026 until 30 October 2026 The promotional code must be entered at the time of booking. 4.3. Travel Period Travel must be completed between: 23 July 2026 and 30 November 2026 All travel is subject to seat availability, applicable fare conditions and blackout dates. 4.4. Blackout Dates The promotional discount is not applicable for travel during the following periods. Malaysia 26 August 2026 to 29 August 2026 5 November 2026 to 7 November 2026 Australia and New Zealand 17 September 2026 to 28 September 2026 Indonesia No blackout dates Thailand No blackout dates Singapore No blackout dates United Kingdom 6 August 2026 to 15 August 2026 4.5. Eligibility and Usage The promotional offer is applicable only to eligible Participants who receive the applicable promotional code from Malaysia Airlines as part of the Campaign. The promotional code must be entered correctly at the time of booking to receive the applicable discount. Promotional codes are non transferable and may only be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the applicable fare conditions. 4.6. Discount Conditions The promotional discount applies only to selected Malaysia Airlines fares, routes and booking classes. The discount applies to the eligible fare component and excludes applicable taxes, fees and surcharges, unless otherwise stated. Promotional fares may not be available on every flight, date, destination, route or booking class. 4.7. Flight Applicability The promotional offer is applicable to eligible Malaysia Airlines operated flights, subject to the applicable routes, fares, booking classes and seat availability. 4.8. Combination with Other Offers The promotional code cannot be used together with another promotional code, discount or offer unless otherwise stated by Malaysia Airlines. 4.9. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds Any changes, cancellations or refunds are subject to the applicable fare rules and conditions of the ticket purchased. 4.10. Availability Promotional seats are limited and subject to availability at the time of booking. Applicable blackout dates, fare restrictions and booking class conditions will apply. 4.11. General Promotional Code Conditions Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other alternative. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend or withdraw the promotional offer or its applicable terms at any time without prior notice. 5. Ride to Melbourne Grand Prize 5.1. Number of Winners Five winners will be selected from the pool of eligible Participants to take part in the “Ride to Melbourne” prize experience. Selection is subject to verification, availability, applicable travel requirements and final confirmation by Malaysia Airlines. 5.2. Prize Period The prize experience is tentatively scheduled between December 2026 and January 2027, subject to the final itinerary, operational requirements and the availability of Dato’ Azizulhasni Awang. 5.3. Duration The prize experience will be for a maximum duration of four days and three nights, unless otherwise confirmed by Malaysia Airlines in writing. Malaysia Airlines will determine the final dates, duration, schedule and itinerary. 5.4. Prize Inclusions Where applicable, the prize experience may include: a. return Malaysia Airlines flight tickets to Melbourne; b. hotel accommodation for the confirmed prize experience duration; c. ground transportation in Melbourne in accordance with the official itinerary; and d. participation in Campaign related activities in Melbourne. 5.5. Meals Meals will be at the winner’s own cost unless otherwise stated in the official itinerary. Breakfast may be included where provided as part of the hotel accommodation. Snacks and drinking water may also be provided during the cycling activity for refreshment purposes. 5.6. Additional Expenses Malaysia Airlines will only cover items expressly confirmed as part of the official prize package. Any additional stay, extension, change to travel arrangements, personal expenses or costs incurred outside the official itinerary will be arranged and borne by the winner. 6. Flight and Travel Arrangements for Winners 6.1. Winners Travelling from Malaysia or the United Kingdom To redeem Malaysia Airlines flight support, the winner’s approved point of origin must be: Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KUL, or London Heathrow Airport, LHR unless otherwise confirmed by Malaysia Airlines in writing. 6.2. Connecting Travel Any domestic, connecting, positioning or other transportation required for a winner to reach KUL or LHR must be arranged and borne by the winner unless otherwise expressly confirmed by Malaysia Airlines. 6.3. Australia Based Winners For winners residing in Australia, the prize package will commence from the designated rendezvous point in Melbourne. Australia based winners are responsible for arranging and bearing the cost of travel from their place of residence to either Melbourne Airport Terminal 2 or the designated event hotel, as communicated by Malaysia Airlines. Malaysia Airlines’ responsibility for the prize package will commence upon the winner’s arrival at the designated rendezvous point. 6.4. Flight Availability Flight tickets are subject to seat availability, applicable travel periods, blackout dates, fare rules and Malaysia Airlines’ ticketing conditions. Malaysia Airlines does not guarantee preferred flight dates, flight times, routes, booking classes or seats. 7. Cycling Equipment 7.1. Winners are responsible for bringing their own cycling equipment, including their bicycle, helmet and any other equipment required for participation in the cycling activities. 7.2. All equipment must comply with Malaysia Airlines’ applicable baggage allowance, size, weight, packaging and carriage requirements. 7.3. Any excess baggage charges, special handling fees, packaging costs or other expenses associated with transporting cycling equipment will be borne by the winner. 7.4. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to refuse participation in any cycling activity where the equipment is considered unsafe, unsuitable or non compliant with applicable safety or event requirements. 8. Prize Exclusions and Conditions 8.1. Any expense not expressly stated as being included in the prize will be borne by the winner. This may include passport costs, visa costs, meals, personal expenses, excess baggage charges, additional activities, incidental costs and other expenses not expressly confirmed by Malaysia Airlines. 8.2. Travel insurance arranged by Malaysia Airlines will be subject to Section 12 and the terms, conditions, exclusions and coverage limits of the applicable insurance policy. 8.3. All rewards and prizes are non transferable, non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or another alternative. 8.4. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to amend, substitute, vary, postpone or cancel any prize, itinerary, activity or arrangement where required. 9. Winner Selection 9.1. To qualify for the “Ride to Melbourne” winner selection pool, Participants must have: a. joined the official MHsports Challenge on Strava; b. completed the minimum cumulative distance of 6.5 kilometres; c. kept their Strava profile public during the Campaign and verification period; d. submitted their required Campaign details and Strava username; e. completed the full MHsports registration and verification process; f. ensured that their submitted information matches their Strava and MHsports registration details; and g. complied with these Terms and Conditions. 9.2. Participants who successfully complete all requirements will be included in the eligible winner selection pool. 9.3. Five winners will be randomly selected from the eligible pool. 9.4. Each Participant is entitled to one entry only, based on one registered email address and one Strava username. 9.5. Winners must reside in, or travel from, one of the participating countries: Malaysia, the United Kingdom or Australia. 9.6. Selected winners are responsible for ensuring that they meet all applicable passport, visa, health, entry and travel requirements for Australia. 9.7. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or selected winner who provides false, incomplete, duplicated, inaccurate, manipulated, misleading or suspicious information or activity records. 9.8. If a selected winner is disqualified, fails verification, does not meet the applicable travel requirements or fails to respond within the required timeframe, Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to select another eligible winner. 9.9. Malaysia Airlines’ decision regarding winner selection is final, conclusive andbinding. 10. Winner Notification 10.1. Selected winners may be contacted by email, telephone, direct message or any other communication channel considered appropriate by Malaysia Airlines. 10.2. Selected winners must respond within two weeks from the date of notification, or within another timeframe communicated by Malaysia Airlines. 10.3. Failure to respond within the stipulated period may result in disqualification and the selection of another eligible winner. 10.4. Malaysia Airlines will not be responsible for any inability to contact a selected winner as a result of inaccurate, incomplete, inactive or incorrect contact information submitted by the Participant. 11. Verification 11.1. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to request information or documentation reasonably required to verify a Participant’s or winner’s eligibility. This may include proof of identity, age, residency, country of travel origin, passport validity, Australia entry eligibility, MHsports registration, Strava participation records and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. 11.2. Failure to provide the required information or documentation within the stipulated timeframe may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. 12. Health, Fitness, Safety and Insurance 12.1. Participants acknowledge that the MHsports Challenge and the “Ride to Melbourne” prize experience may involve physical activity, physical exertion and inherent risks. 12.2. By participating, Participants confirm that they are medically and physically fit to take part in the relevant activities and have not been advised against participation by a qualified medical practitioner. 12.3. Winners may be required to sign additional waivers, acknowledgements, releases or participation forms before taking part in the prize experience. 12.4. Winners and, where applicable, accompanying guests must comply with all safety instructions, venue rules, event guidelines, travel requirements and reasonable directions issued by Malaysia Airlines, event organisers, venue operators, coaches, officials or authorised representatives. 12.5. Winners and, where applicable, accompanying guests participating in the “Ride to Melbourne” prize experience will be covered under travel insurance arranged by Malaysia Airlines through its appointed insurance provider, subject to the applicable policy terms, conditions, exclusions and coverage limits. 12.6. Insurance coverage will apply for the applicable duration of the prize experience and approved journey, subject to the terms of the relevant insurance policy. 12.7. Any insurance claim relating to an emergency, health issue, accident or incident will be subject to assessment and approval by the appointed insurance provider. 12.8. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate the participation of any individual whose conduct is considered unsafe, disruptive, non compliant or likely to place themselves or others at risk. 13. Publicity, Content and Media Rights 13.1. By participating in the Campaign and accepting a reward or prize, Participants and, where applicable, winners and accompanying guests acknowledge that Malaysia Airlines may photograph, film or record their participation in the Campaign and related activities. 13.2. Participants and, where applicable, winners and accompanying guests grant Malaysia Airlines a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable and non exclusive right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, edit, adapt and communicate such content for promotional, marketing, advertising, corporate communication and publicity purposes across any relevant media or platform, without further compensation. 13.3. Malaysia Airlines may retain and use such content for its promotional, marketing, corporate communication and archival purposes. 14. Personal Data and Privacy 14.1. Malaysia Airlines will process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws and regulations. 14.2. Personal data collected through the Campaign may be used for Campaign administration, Participant verification, reward fulfilment, prize fulfilment, marketing communications and promotional purposes relating to the Campaign. 14.3. By participating in the Campaign, Participants consent to the collection, processing and use of their personal data for the purposes stated in these Terms and Conditions, subject to Malaysia Airlines’ Privacy Policy. 15. Release and Limitation of Liability 15.1. By participating in the Campaign, Participants agree to release and hold harmless Malaysia Airlines, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses arising from participation in the Campaign or the acceptance, use or misuse of a reward or prize, to the extent permitted by applicable law. 15.2. Malaysia Airlines will not be responsible for technical disruptions, system failures, interruptions to the Strava platform, lost or delayed submissions, incomplete entries, incorrect information, travel disruptions, changes in travel requirements or circumstances outside its reasonable control. 15.3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. 16. General Conditions 16.1. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to amend, vary, postpone, suspend, cancel or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice. 16.2. Malaysia Airlines may modify Campaign mechanics, promotional rewards, eligibility requirements, winner selection arrangements, prize structure, travel arrangements or other Campaign related matters where required. 16.3. Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in conduct that is unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, offensive, disruptive or damaging to the reputation or goodwill of Malaysia Airlines or its partners. 16.4. Any unlawful or criminal conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities. 16.5. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or reasonable directions issued by Malaysia Airlines may result in forfeiture of a reward or prize without compensation. 17. Governing Law 17.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. 17.2. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Campaign will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. 18. Final Decisions 18.1. Malaysia Airlines’ decision on all matters relating to the Campaign, including eligibility, verification, winner selection, promotional rewards, prize fulfilment and interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, will be final, conclusive and binding. 19. Miscellaneous 19.1. These Terms and Conditions will prevail in the event of any inconsistency with promotional, advertising or communication materials relating to the Campaign. 19.2. These Terms and Conditions are prepared in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency, the English version will prevail. 19.3. By participating in the Campaign, Participants are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 19.4. Any dietary requirements or medical conditions relevant to the prize experience should be communicated to Malaysia Airlines in advance. Malaysia Airlines will not be responsible where suitable arrangements cannot be provided due to insufficient prior notice.
