Please enter your name as it appears on your passport and use alphabetical characters A-Z and a-z, maximum 40 characters for Last/Family name; 25 characters for First & Middle name. Total combined maximum length of name title, first, middle and last name including date of birth of child or infant is 58 characters. This total includes characters reserved for backend purposes. As a guide, please refer to the following examples.

For Malaysian passport where the name is printed on the passport without surname/last name and given name, and the MRZ is printed with single separator (chevron) (< )’ , to align with the industry standard practice, the handling will be as follow:

In passports that consist of Last/Surname and First/Given name, name printed in MRZ will consist of double separator (chevron) (<<)’ to separate Surname/Last Name and First/Given name. Please enter the first & middle name and last name/surname in the respective fields.

Enter the initials of the first name.

If the passenger's name solely consists of a single name without first name or last name , enter name in the Last name/Surname field and enter 'FNU' (First Name Unknown) in the First & Middle Name field.

Omit the hyphen or space.

Enter name in roman characters.

Enter single letter first name in the First & middle name field.

Enter single letter last name with double letters in the Last name/Surname field.

Middle name needs to be entered in its dedicated input field depending on route. On routes without a dedicated field for middle name, please enter middle name in the first & middle name field.
