Malaysia Airlines passengers may perform check-in online via the airline’s mobile app or website and international travellers are encouraged to proceed to the check-in counters for mandatory validation of their contact details and travel documents to ensure their eligibility to travel to their intended destination.
Additionally, the Single Token initiative that uses facial recognition technology to automate the travel journey from check-in to boarding is now available for Malaysia Airlines’ passengers departing from KL International Airport (KLIA) to all domestic destinations.
Once registered at the Enrolment Totem, located near KLIA’s departure level entrance (Door 1 & 2), passengers need only to have their faces scanned without having to produce documents right until boarding.
