Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician Accelerated Training Programme (ATP) - Trainee Licensed Aircraft Engineer Accelerated Training Programme (ATP) - Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Holder of B1.1 Aircraft Maintenance License with type rating acceptable to CAA Malaysia. Holder of B1.1 approval certification from aircraft maintenance organization. Comprehensive knowledge of type rated aircraft systems and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Holder of B2 Aircraft Maintenance License with type rating acceptable to CAA Malaysia. Holder of B2 approval certification from aircraft maintenance organization. Comprehensive knowledge of type rated aircraft systems and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

The Accelerated Training Programme (ATP) is designed for individuals with a basic aircraft maintenance license by CAA Malaysia. This programme aims to fast-track their transition to become a licensed aircraft engineer. The ATP compresses the training timeframe compared to the standard programme. This allows qualified individuals to obtain their Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) certification within a year (subject to confirmation from MAB Engineering Services).

The ATP program offers two main tracks: Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE): This track prepares individuals to obtain their LAE certification, allowing them to perform maintenance and inspections on aircraft. Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT): This track focuses on training technicians in specific areas of aircraft maintenance, such as composite repair, avionics systems, or cabin interiors.

The program duration is 12 months.

The program is open to individuals who already possess the basic aircraft maintenance license by CAA Malaysia.

Accelerated Training Programme (ATP) Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer B2

The training cost is RM29,950, which will be borne by MABES.

All ATP trainees (LAE) will receive a monthly allowance of RM3,000.

Yes, all ATP trainees will be required to sign a training bond between 2 to 5 years with MAB Engineering Services (MABES).
