Travel regulation for Australia
Entry requirements to Australia
Malaysia Airlines requires all customers travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney to be fully vaccinated as per Australian Government guidelines.
Those who have been in South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, or Malawi in the last 14 days are not allowed to board Malaysia Airlines flights to Australia.
For detailed information, customers may refer to https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/vaccinated-travellers.
Additionally, customers must comply with the Australian entry travel requirement as stated in https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/ and the respective state quarantine conditions via https://www.australia.gov.au/states.
Customers to Brisbane must be approved by the relevant state health authority to complete home quarantine and must apply at least 48 hours in advance of arrival for home quarantine approval. Failure to be granted home quarantine approval will result in denied boarding.
