CAAM Part 66 Examinations (External Candidates)

The passing mark for each of the CAAM Part-66 module/sub-module examination for multi-choice is 75% and essay is 75%. Candidates must pass all the CAAM Part-66 module/sub-module examinations in the respective Aircraft Maintenance Licence category within a 7-year time period. Re-examinations - A failed module may not be retaken for at least 90 days following the date of the failed module examination. After a maximum of three attempts, it may ONLY be taken ONE YEAR following the date of the last sitting (of the same module). This includes the Lifting of Limitation examinations. Removal of limitation candidates to complete all lifting of limitations module with MAB Engineering Training before continuing for assessments. We will process the registration and notify you once approved by CAAM, which you can then proceed with the Examinations/Assessments application.

LATEST EXAM SCHEDULES Any changes to the schedule shall be notified through MAB Engineering Training website. Any changes request by applicant must be made not less than 7 working days before the examination date in formal written. Candidate who are absent without notification will be considered a 'No Show' and fee will not be refundable. Candidate who are late 15 minutes after examination commence are not allowed to sit in the examination. Re-examination is only allowed after 90 days from the date of the last sitting. The 3rd re-examination is only allowed after 1 year from the date of the last sitting. FAQ on CAAM Part 66 Exams

Yes, MAB Engineering Training is authorised to conduct CAAM Part-66 Examinations on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia since 1st of May 2023 [Authorisation No.: ATO/2023/01].

Aircraft maintenance personnel from Airline/Air Operator or MTO (Maintenance Training Organisation) AND currently working in aircraft maintenance environment. At least SPM with credits in English Language (for those who do not meet this requirement must pass band 4 English Language Proficiency Test at appointed CAAM MTO)

All CAAM Part-66 Examinations conducted at MAB Engineering Training fee is RM265 including 6% SST for each module.

Yes, you can for Full module, but evidence has to be shown. For lifting of limitations all module must be taken from MAB Engineering Training only.

Once documents submitted to us have been verified and CAAM approved the registration, our administrator will get in touch with you. Registration Fee of RM21.20 must be made in full.

If you have not register, please register and the MAB Engineering Training team will notify you once CAAM have approved of your registration. Candidates that have met the above criteria are to fill up the FULL MODULE EXAM APPLICATION FORM by downloading the form and to drop the completed in the provided Dropbox below. Examination/assessment application will be processed once the registration has been approved by CAAM Applicants for removal of limitation to complete all examination with assessment package at MAB only The basic knowledge examinations shall have been passed within 7 years prior to the application for issuance or variation of AML Application will only be processed once payment cleared Fees per examination is RM265 include 6% SST - Please refer to the payment method below
