Updated Travel Advisory on Typhoon Jebi in Osaka as at 06 September 2018

 

Malaysia Airlines will be mounting the additional flights as below from Kuala Lumpur to Narita (vice versa) to ferry passengers affected by Typhoon Jebi to Narita and Kuala Lumpur respectively. This is in view of torrential downpours and flash floods which have resulted in the closure of the Kansai International Airport.

Flights MH050 and MH 051 as above will operate daily between 09 and 13 September 2018 as an interim measure until the Kansai International Airport reopens.

The airline will continue to monitor the situation and resume flights into and out of Osaka as soon as it receives confirmation on improved weather conditions from the Kansai Airport Authorities.

Passengers affected  have the option of travelling to Narita, deferring their travel dates or requesting for a full refund.
