Malaysia Airlines Extends Suspension of Doha Services Until 14 June 2026
Malaysia Airlines extends Doha suspension until 14 June 2026, prioritizing safety and alternative routes.
Malaysia Airlines has further extended the temporary suspension of its Doha (DOH) services until 14 June 2026 , following a risk assessment indicating that the security situation in the region remains unchanged. The Doha service was initially suspended from 28 February 2026 due to airspace closures affecting the region. The airline continues to closely monitor the situation through ongoing risk assessments and relevant Notice to Airmen (NOTAMs) before resuming operations. The airline has also increased widebody capacity between Asia and Europe from 12 March 2026 to support onward journeys and reunite families, with flights operating on carefully planned alternative routes that avoid affected regions. All other services, including Jeddah (JED), Madinah (MED), London (LHR) and Paris (CDG) continue to operate as scheduled. The safety of passengers and crew remains our highest priority.
