Malaysia Airlines’ Travel Rebooking Option for Travel Due to Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO)

Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia, the Government of Malaysia has extended the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for certain states within Malaysia except Pahang, Perlis and Kelantan for the period of 12^th October to 6^th December 2020.

Passengers who wish to change their travel plans within domestic Malaysia are entitled to the following:

• One time change with fare difference and service fees waived is allowed.
• New travel should be booked in the same or next highest available booking class.
• Changes to the origin and destination or cabin are not allowed.

The rebooking options aforementioned are available to passengers with tickets issued for travel from 12^th October to 6^th December 2020 only. All rebooked/revised travel requests must be made on or before 31^st December 2020 for travel to be completed by 31^st December 2020. All subsequent changes for deferred/new travel dates must reflect the currently available fare.

For those who wish to cancel their flight, Malaysia Airlines offers an option to convert their ticket to a travel voucher for partially used or entirely unused tickets, applicable for all types of tickets except redemption tickets. The travel voucher can be used for their next travel on Malaysia Airlines before/on 31^st December 2020. For Redemption Tickets, the refund option in the form of a travel voucher is not applicable. Enrich members are allowed to have their ticket open dated, and the travel must be completed by 31^st December 2020.
