MAB Engineering Training offers task assessment packages for the following categories: CAAM Part 66 Category A1 CAAM Part 66 Category B1.1 Category B2 CAAM Part 66 Removal of limitations The full matrix and assessment process are strictly following the requirements of the latest CAAM CAD 1801. These oral assessments will be conducted by our CAAM Approved Practical Assessors at MAB Engineering Training KLIA during office hours.

FAQ on Assessments

Yes, MAB Engineering Training is authorised to conduct CAAM Part-66 Examinations on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia since 1st of May 2023 [Authorisation No.: ATO/2023/01].

Aircraft maintenance personnel from Airline/Air Operator or MTO (Maintenance Training Organisation) AND currently working in aircraft maintenance environment Minimum of 3 years Aircraft Maintenance Experience with Work Schedule for Category A1 Minimum of 5 years Aircraft Maintenance Experience with Work Schedule for Category B1 & B2 Passed all required CAAM examinations

Yes, you can for Grant of License module only, but evidence must be shown. For Removal of Limitation all lifting module must be taken from MAB Engineering Training only.

Assessment schedule will be notified at least 2 weeks before the schedule date within 3 months application.

Due to high demand of assessments application, we conduct the assessments at least twice a month for external candidates.

Payment can be made via online transfer. Please send us an enquiry on our Contact Us page for more info on the payment.

Retake of unsuccessful task assessment shall require a new task validation & appropriate fee.

Due to a limited number of assessments slots, we will only register candidates who have successfully completed the Task Assessments Kits "Task Section" with all the requested information and have made full payment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Assessment application is only for: Candidates that have REGISTERED and their registration have been APPROVED BY CAAM AND have passed CAAM Part 66 Examination Candidates that have met the above criterias are to fill up the ETD-F057 TASK ASSESSMENT APPLICATION FORM (EXTERNAL) by downloading the form and to upload the completed form in the provided Dropbox below. Examination/assessment application will be processed once the registration has been approved by CAAM Applicants for removal of limitation to complete all examination with assessment package at MAB only The basic knowledge examinations shall have been passed within 7 years prior to the application for issuance or variation of AML Application will only be processed once payment cleared For the Assessment Fee, please send us an enquiry on the Contact Us page for more info
