Malaysia Airlines’ Delights First-time Fliers to Langkawi
KLIA, 12 October 2018: Malaysia Airlines today made the first-time experience of flying on an airplane more memorable for 40 teachers and students from SK LKTP Tenggaroh Selatan, Kota Tinggi, Johor with a surprise send-off by the airline’s Group CEO Capt Izham Ismail who also presented them with exciting goodies. The group will be travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi on an educational trip via Malaysia Airlines’ flight MH1436 and MH1446.
Speaking at the meet and greet session at KL International Airport (KLIA) today, Izham said, “We know the teachers have worked so hard to ensure that this trip materializes, so we took the opportunity to organize something special just to add to their joy. As the national airline of Malaysia, we find ways to appreciate our passengers even with little gestures while at the same time promoting the attributes of Malaysian Hospitality. We are delighted that they chose to travel with Malaysia Airlines and we hope that these kids will aspire to one day give back to society. They can start small with acts of kindness to others. We believe a memorable first time experience will leave a lasting impression.
“With the wealth of cultural and heritage sites to visit in Langkawi, Malaysia Airlines hopes that this will further spark the students’ learning interest and broaden their horizon,” added Izham.
In conjunction with this, Malaysia Airlines will be releasing a series of inspiring videos, highlighting Malaysian Hospitality as part of the airline’s MHmoments campaign, an initiative to make each passenger’s travel experience unique and memorable from end-to-end.
