Malaysia Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways proudly announce the reinstatement of their codeshare partnership, enhancing connectivity and unlocking new travel opportunities for passengers across Southeast Asia, Central Asia and beyond. This reinstatement reflects a shared commitment to providing seamless travel experiences and strengthening their networks in response to growing demand for international connectivity. The renewed agreement sees Malaysia Airlines introducing its “MH” flight code on the Tashkent–Kuala Lumpur route operated by Uzbekistan Airways, marking its entry into Central Asia. This milestone offers Malaysia Airlines’ passengers a direct link to the region, further enriching its global network and supporting the growing demand for international travel. Simultaneously, Uzbekistan Airways expands its reach by placing its “HY” flight code on selected routes operated by Malaysia Airlines. Passengers now have convenient access to popular resort destinations such as Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu via Kuala Lumpur. These destinations offer travellers an opportunity to explore Southeast Asia’s iconic landscapes and destinations. Through this codeshare partnership, passengers will enjoy enhanced travel convenience, with features including baggage check-in through to their final destination without the need for re-checking at transit airports, optimised flight schedules and minimised layover times, ensuring more seamless connections for passengers. The renewed partnership allows passengers to explore captivating destinations across Southeast Asia and Central Asia, combining the renowned hospitality of both airlines with the comfort of modern air travel . Tickets for the new routes are now available to purchase via the airlines’ official website, sales offices and via authorised agents.
