Fully vaccinated travellers can now fly to Australia quarantine-free! Malaysia Airlines flights are open to individuals that fulfill the following travel requirements:
- Fully vaccinated travellers.
- Have been vaccinated and boosted with the approved vaccines, namely Pfizer (Comirnaty), AztraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Moderna (Spikevax), COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), Coronovac (Sinovac) and Covishield (AztraZeneca/Serum Institute of India).
- Full vaccination and booster must be administered with a minimum of seven (7) days before being allowed to board.
- Children under 12 years and are unvaccinated will be allowed to travel but must be accompanied by a legal guardian who is fully vaccinated.
- All customers must provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or other Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) taken within 3 days of your flight’s scheduled departure, or a medical certificate as evidence of a negative Rapid Antigen Test taken under medical supervision within 24 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure to Australia.
- Customers are required to complete all relevant entry declarations prior to departure including Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD), as per the Australian Government Guidelines.
- Fully vaccinated passengers transiting in KL International Airport with connecting flights to Australia within 24 hours are permitted to continue their journey.
