Make sure your first name and last name exactly match the ones on your travel document (NRIC/Identity Card/Passport). The registered name will be used for your flight booking and printed on the ticket and boarding pass. Please be informed that you may be denied boarding or entry at your destination if the names do not match the identification presented. Students who are eligible to receive this subsidy are Malaysian students studying at selected public universities in 2026, in any of the following categories: Live in Sabah, Sarawak or Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan (based on permanent address in IC) and study in Semenanjung Malaysia; Live in Semenanjung Malaysia (based on permanent address in IC) and study in Sabah, Sarawak or Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan; Live in Sabah (based on permanent address in IC) and study in Sarawak or Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan; Live in Sarawak (based on permanent address in IC) and study in Sabah or Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan Live in Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan (based on permanent address in IC) and study in Sabah or Sarawak. 2. To check eligibility, students can visit https://subsidiudara.mot.gov.my/. Students who are not eligible may visit https://subsidiudara.mot.gov.my/tnc for more information. 3. Voucher redemption starts from 1 January to 31 December 2026. 4. Travel period starts from 1 January until 31 December 2026. 5. Voucher is only applicable for flight tickets purchased under Malaysia Aviation Group (Malaysia Airlines / Firefly) via MHexplorer Student portal only. 6. Voucher is only valid for the purchase of one-way or return flight tickets for Economy Class flight routes between the student's permanent address/ place of origin (Semenanjung Malaysia/ Sabah/ Sarawak/ Labuan) and location of university/ place of study (Semenanjung Malaysia/ Sabah/ Sarawak/ Labuan). • e.g. A student studying in Semenanjung Malaysia may use the voucher to purchase a return flight ticket to Sabah, which is in the student's IC as their permanent address. 7. Students may only apply once for a voucher from the participating airlines and the voucher redemption can be done a maximum of 3 times or until the MYR 400 is fully utilized.
