New Entry Requirements for Passengers Travelling to Selected Destinations

Please be informed that several countries have introduced new or updated entry requirements for incoming passengers. Travellers are advised to review the guidelines below and complete the necessary forms prior to departure.
Published on 22 August 2025 Effective immediately, all passengers (Indonesians and foreigners) travelling to Indonesia are required by the local authorities to complete a declaration form via the ‘All Indonesia’ website or mobile app, at least three (3) days prior to departure. This applies to all passport holders, including tourists, business travellers, and long-term residents. The ‘All Indonesia’ platform combines Immigration, Customs, Health, and Quarantine declarations into one single form, so passengers only need to submit one declaration form instead of multiple forms. Published on 02 October 2025 Effective immediately, all foreign nationals travelling to Taiwan are required to complete the Taiwan Digital Arrival Card (TWAC) online at least three (3) days prior to departure. This applies to all foreign passport holders, including: Foreign nationals without an Alien Resident Certificate, Resident Visa, or Diplomatic ID card People of the Mainland Area holding Multiple Entry & Exit Permits (for travel purposes) Hong Kong and Macau residents holding Multiple Entry & Exit Permits Nationals without household registration and without a Taiwan Area residence certificate The TWAC is the electronic version of the traditional disembarkation card for foreign visitors, streamlining immigration processing, reducing paperwork, and enhancing border security. Published on 02 October 2025 Effective immediately, all foreign nationals travelling to India are required to complete the e-Arrival Card online at least three (3) days prior to departure. Upon successful submission, travellers will receive a copy of the e-Arrival Card, which must be presented to Immigration Officers upon request. The e-Arrival Card is the electronic version of the traditional disembarkation card for foreign visitors, streamlining immigration processing, reducing paperwork, and enhancing border security. Published on 17 October 2025 Effective 15 October 2025, all foreign nationals travelling to Sri Lanka for tourism purposes are required by local authorities to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) prior to arrival. The ETA serves as an official entry authorisation, designed to simplify visa processing and enhance border control measures. Published on 19 November 2025 Effective 20 November 2025, all foreign nationals entering China are required to complete the China e-Arrival Card prior to arrival. The e-Arrival Card allows travellers to submit mandatory entry information online, streamlining immigration procedures and reducing processing time upon arrival. Published on 9 February 2026 Visitors travelling to the United Kingdom (UK) must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) if they do not require a visa for short stays of up to six months and do not already hold UK immigration status. From 25 February 2026, passengers without a valid ETA will not be permitted to board their flights and cannot legally travel to the UK. Travellers are advised to complete their ETA applications at least 72 hours prior to their intended travel date to avoid any disruptions.
