Please know that we take the handling of your belongings very seriously and rest assured that we are doing everything we can to make things right. Our dedicated team will work diligently to investigate the situation and keep you updated. However, if the final flight in your itinerary is not operated by Malaysia Airlines, you will need to lodge a report directly with the airline that you are flying with. At Malaysia Airlines, your safety and comfort are our top priority.
We understand how frustrating it can be to arrive at your destination without your checked baggage. Rest assured, we'll do everything we can to get it back to you as soon as possible. Please follow the simple steps below to report your delayed baggage:
1. Lodge a report. If you're still at the airport, please let us know right away by reporting it at the Baggage Office or through our online Self-Service Baggage Reporting Portal . If you've already left the airport, you can still report it through the same portal.
2. Keep your Reference Number. Once you have completed your report, you will receive a unique Reference Number to your case. Please ensure that you keep it safely for your next correspondence with us.
3. Trace your report status. Once you’ve submitted your report to us, you may track the progress of your report online through our Self-Service Baggage Reporting Portal.
4. Follow up on your report. With your Reference Number in hand, please feel free to connect with us if you have further questions. Kindly ensure that you contact your final arrival destination 's baggage office team so that they can assist you further.
Usually, we're able to locate delayed baggage within 24 hours and we'll even deliver it to your home, office, or hotel if it's allowed by local customs. As we strive to deliver the best Malaysian Hospitality, we hope you may reunite with your baggage soonest possible.

If you happen to leave something behind on one of our planes, don't worry. We’re here to help! Please follow the simple steps below:
1. Lodge a report. You may either stop by our Baggage Office when you arrive at your destination airport or submit a report online through our Lost and Found Property e-form and we’ll do our best to retrieve your item.
2. Trace your report status. Once you have completed the report, you will get a confirmation case number sent to your email where you can check the status of your report at your convenience.
