MHexplorer fares are available for travel on all Malaysia Airlines and Firefly flights , except for codeshare flights and flights to/from Jeddah and Madinah . As an MHexplorer member , you'll get a 20% discount on Firefly Air Cargo , but you'll need to show proof of your membership to redeem it. You can only book your MHexplorer fare on www.malaysiaairlines.com/mhexplorer , and your booking will be classified as a student fare . Approval for new members is instant approval. Please ensure you bring a valid student ID or study offer letter for verification at check-in . If the required documentation is not provided, expired, or deemed invalid, the normal fare will apply . Malaysia Airlines reserves the right to approve or reject any application for this programme. If you abuse the program or commit fraud, we reserve the right to cancel your booking or deny you boarding . Other fare conditions and rules apply .

The expiry date for your MHexplorer account is based on your study duration and when the members’ age reached 26 years old, which you provided when registering.

If your MHexplorer account has expired and you are still within the eligible age range (13–26 years old), follow these steps to re-register: Go to the MHexplorer registration form and begin entering your details as you would for a new registration. If the system detects that your previous account has expired, it will allow you to proceed with re-registration. Re-upload the required documents, including your Identity Documentation, a new Study Offer Letter or Student ID to verify your continued eligibility. Follow the remaining steps to finalize your registration, just like the first time.
