Malaysia Airlines understands the concerns and uncertainty surrounding air travel amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.



With a growing number of countries around the world closing its borders, more customers are affected by travel uncertainties. In response, Malaysia Airlines has introduced brand-new, flexible rebooking options with immediate effect. The Ultimate Flexibility waiver policy provides you - our customers, the flexibility to make changes to your existing bookings. We are aware that our customers have been experiencing difficulties in reaching us due to the unusually high volume of calls at our Global Contact Centre. We sincerely apologise and we assure you that we are doing everything we can to serve all our customers during this time.


To manage the situation better, we will prioritise guests with departures in the next 48 hours.


Customers with non-immediate flight departures are strongly urged to submit their change requests online, via the Flight Waiver Request Form here. This is to help ease the congestion and shorten the waiting time significantly at our Global Contact Centre.


We also ask that you avoid submitting multiple requests. New flight details or refund confirmation will be sent via email.
