Malaysia Airlines Offers Additional Capacity for Hari Raya Puasa & Merdeka
Subang, 07 August 2011 : Malaysia Airlines is offering an additional capacity of 7764 seats through 34 extra flights and 20 upgraded flights from 26 August to 4 September 2011 to cope with the increasing demand during the forthcoming Hari Raya Puasa and Merdeka holidays.
“We have increased capacity on a number of demand sectors to cater for travellers who wish to enjoy the festive season with their beloved ones or even go for a short holiday during this period,” said Malaysia Airlines Executive Vice President for Commercial Strategy, Dato’ Dr Amin Khan.
“Malaysia Airlines will continue to monitor the situation and add more capacity on sectors where there is further demand,” he added.
The 34 extra flights, using the 144-seater Boeing 737-400 aircraft are for:
