Two adult passengers travelling together with Malaysia Airlines from UK&I to Australia or New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam,
Cambodia and Myanmar who choose to stopover in Malaysia between 15 September 2014 and 30 June 2015 are entitled to one (01) night free
accommodation at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur (only applicable for First and Business Class passengers), Berjaya Times Square Hotel or Sama Sama Hotel Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Hotel on room only basis.

HOW TO REDEEM YOUR FREE HOTEL STAY:

1. Book your Malaysia Airlines tickets (minimum of two passengers travelling together) to Australia and New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia,
the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur through www.malaysiaairlines.com.

2. Fill in the hotel booking form indicating your preferred hotel:

- Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur

- Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

- Sama Sama Hotel at KLIA

3. Additional nights may be booked via Malaysia Airlines at GBP60 per room, per night (Berjaya Times Square) and GBP90 (Sama Sama Hotel
KLIA) and can be paid directly at the hotel upon check-out. For Shangri-La, please enquire for best available rates at the time of booking.

4. Malaysia Airlines’ London Reservations office will contact you within 48 hours regarding confirmation of your complimentary 1 (one) night stay in Kuala Lumpur.

5. Upon hotel check in, you would need to present your MH Boarding Pass and your email booking confirmation to avail of the complimentary 1
(one) night hotel stay.

These terms and conditions govern the booking of your complimentary hotel accommodation. Where Malaysia Airlines books accommodation in its capacity as an agent for a third party supplier, your contract for that accommodation will be subject to the relevant supplier’s terms and conditions which could limit or exclude liability to you. No contract will come into existence until we accept your request for accommodation. When you submit your request for accommodation, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept (and do accept) these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and all persons covered by your accommodation booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that any information given to you in connection with this booking by us or any third party supplier is passed on to everyone on whose behalf you are making, or have made, the accommodation booking.

Offer

Two adult passengers travelling together with Malaysia Airlines from UK&I to Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar with a stopover in Kuala Lumpur during sale period 22 August to 30 September 2014, for travel between 15 September  2014 to 30 June 2015 ( except for First and Business Class bookings for Shangri-La KL which is valid for travel between 01 December 2014 and 28 February 2015) are entitled to one (01) night free accommodation on the following hotels on room only basis. Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur (First and Business Class), Sama-Sama KL International Airport Hotel (First, Business and Economy Class)  and Berjaya Times Square (First, Business and Economy Class). The above free accommodation offers include all taxes and service charges but do not include any meals taken with the free stay.

Eligible Bookings

All new bookings made on or after 22nd August 2014 until 30th September 2014 (This offer cannot be claimed retroactively/on existing bookings). This offer is open to a minimum of two adult passengers travelling together on Malaysia Airlines’ operated flights to Australia or New Zealand,  Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar (code-share flights and itineraries involving other air carriers are excluded from the offer) and booking a return airline ticket (not valid for one-way journeys). Complimentary accommodation must be utilised between 15 September 2014 and 30 June 2015 (both dates inclusive), except for bookings on the Shangri-La Hotel which is valid for travel between 01 December 2014 and 28 February 2015. The offer is available to adult fare-paying passengers only and all airline tickets must be paid for in full. The offer is not available to passengers who have purchased their airline tickets partially, or in full, using Enrich miles or Industry and Travel Agency discounted fares.  Applicable fare classes are O, Q, S, N, V, L, M, K, H, B and Y for Economy, Z, Z2, D, D2 C and J for Business Class and F, A for First Class. The offer is not valid with any other promotion or offer and is not applicable to passengers travelling as part of an inclusive tour package. The offer is not valid for passengers whose travel originates outside of UK&I. Passengers can decide whether to utilise their complimentary hotel accommodation either on their outbound or inbound stopover. The two adult passengers travelling together are eligible to avail the offer in a double room and not in two single rooms. For Shangri-La Hotel, deluxe rooms only have double rooms and are unable to provide twin bed, interconnecting rooms and accommodate extra beds, Rooms booked/occupancy should match the number of passengers booked.

Accommodation

Complimentary accommodation must be booked prior to commencing the outbound sector of the itinerary. Bookings cannot be made on arrival in Kuala Lumpur. Passengers who attempt to make reservations directly with the hotel on arrival in Kuala Lumpur will have to settle any and all charges directly to the hotel. Accommodation booking for the two adult passengers travelling together qualifies for a double or twin room (note:  Double room only for Shangri-La). Complimentary hotel accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking on a first come, first served basis. Malaysia Airlines will endeavour to secure rooms for the dates requested but accepts no responsibility or liability if the requested hotel cannot accommodate the booking because it is fully booked or for any other reasons beyond Malaysia Airlines’ control. Passengers must hand in the boarding pass to the hotel upon check in and the email confirmation received from Malaysia Airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to provide the boarding pass to the hotel as proof of travel on Malaysia Airlines, without which, the hotel can refuse check-in or charge their standard rates directly to the customer. The offer includes accommodation only. The offer excludes all other meals, transfers to and from the airport and any other additional costs incurred. The offer is subject to a maximum occupancy of two adults per room and maximum one child below 12 years of age sharing the existing bed in the parent’s room. Extra bed costs are available as stated above. If additional nights are required, they can be requested and booked directly with Malaysia Airlines or the hotels.

Check-in / Check-out 

Check-in time is usually from 2pm while check-out time is from 11am.  Should the passengers require early check-in/ late check-out/s, they will be provided at no additional cost, subject to availability.

Black Out Period

The Complimentary Hotel Night offer is subject to availability between 08 December 2014 and 07 January 2015 inclusive for Shangri-La. Black out dates apply for Moto GP from 20-26 October 2014 (inclusive) and Formula F1 in 2015 (dates TBC) for Sama-Sama Hotel.

Visa

Obtaining relevant visas either in Malaysia or Australia/New Zealand are the responsibility of the passenger.

Liabilities Exemption and Disclaimer

Where Malaysia Airlines sells or provides to you services provided by a third party in its capacity as an authorised agent of such third party or acts as an agent on behalf of any third party supplier, it is not responsible for negligent acts or omissions of such suppliers, their employees, agents or representatives, nor for any deficiency in the service provided and in particular, Malaysia Airlines has no liability for loss, personal injury or death however incurred unless such loss, personal injury or death is caused solely by Malaysia Airlines’ negligence. Malaysia Airlines is unable to accept any responsibility for loss, damage or expense due to unusual, unforeseeable events beyond the airline’s reasonable control - the consequences of which could not be avoided even if all due care had been exercised, including but not limited to delays or changes in schedules, technical or maintenance problems, hotel overbooking or defaults, sickness, adverse weather conditions, natural or industrial disaster, industrial disputes involving third party suppliers, war, terrorist activity, quarantine or other causes.
