MALAYSIA AIRLINES CANCELS FLIGHT MH134/14 NOV 2012
Arrangements made to fly passengers on alternative flights

15 November 2012, Brisbane: Malaysia Airlines has cancelled flight MH134 of 14 November 2012, originally scheduled for departure from Brisbane at 11.50pm and arrive Kuala Lumpur at 6.00am on 15 November 2012, subsequently retimed to depart Brisbane at 4.00pm on 15 November 2012 and arrive Kuala Lumpur at 10.10pm the same day.

The retiming was to enable rectification of an engine defect and most of the 255 passengers of the flight were provided full board accommodation in Brisbane.

Whilst the engine rectification was being done, another mechanical defect was detected.

As the repairs were going to take longer than expected, Malaysia Airlines cancelled the flight and arranged alternative travel options for the passengers. This included, transfer to other airline flights from Brisbane to their final destinations.

Passengers who could not be accommodated on flights today were provided additional full board accommodation and transfers before their travel on the next available flights out of Brisbane tomorrow.

Malaysia Airlines extends its sincere apologies to all passengers of MH134/14 November 2012 for the disruption to their travel plans.
