Yuna’s Latest Album Listening Party Featured on MAS YouTube Channel

Kuala Lumpur, 7 November 2013: Malaysia Airlines’ social media journey celebrated another milestone today with the live broadcast of #MHmoments with Yuna - 'Nocturnal' Listening Party.

Featuring Malaysia Airlines Social Media Ambassador, Yuna, live-streaming of the listening party was held to celebrate a new chapter in the Malaysian pop star’s musical journey. For the new album, Yuna worked with US-based Verve Music Group, her first venture beyond Malaysian shores.

Entitled ‘Nocturnal’, the album’s listening party was held in Google Malaysia’s new office in Kuala Lumpur.

Throughout the listening party, fans were treated to an exclusive opportunity to interact with Yuna through the Live Chat. Apart from getting Yuna’s insight of songs on her new album, the Live Chat on YouTube enabled Yuna to thank fans for their support by sharing the historic moment together.

The live-stream on YouTube also saw the debut of Yuna’s Malaysia Airlines video in which she invites fans to experience amazing journeys around the world.

To be shared through ‘#MHmoments’ available on all Malaysia Airlines’ social media channels, Yuna’s travels are an apt fit for Malaysia Airlines to connect with social media fans. 

According to Malaysia Airlines Head of Advertising & Promotions, Khairul Syahar Khalid, “We are proud to have Yuna associated with Malaysia Airlines social media journey. Yuna’s popularity is growing beyond Malaysia as she becomes a more recognizable face internationally. Her musical journey is an inspiration to others to dream big and to take that first big step of their life’s journey.”

Yuna meanwhile applaudes Malaysia Airlines for pushing the envelope in their social media activities, “My musical journey had always been a journey taken on social media. It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Malaysia Airlines on this as social media is an exciting new frontier to explore.”

Yuna’s journey throughout the year as the national airline’s Social Media Ambassador has been well documented. She was recently featured in a video commemorating Malaysia Airlines hitting the one million fans mark on Facebook. Expect to see more of her throughout the airline’s social media channels, including onboard its flight entertainment.
