Malaysia Airlines Introduces New Promo Fares To Kathmandu

Subang, 21 July 2012 : Malaysia Airlines recently announced the introduction of its thrice weekly direct services between Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu effective 1 September 2012.

Due to the very encouraging response from the public, Malaysia Airlines is introducing new promotional fares for this route.

Malaysia Airlines Regional Senior Vice President Malaysia & ASEAN Region, Encik Muzammil Mohamad said, “Our move to introduce Kathmandu to the Malaysia Airlines network is receiving overwhelming response. We believe that the natural grandeur of the Himalayas and rich cultural heritage of Nepal is attracting travelers to choose Kathmandu as a must-go destination,” he added.

Malaysia Airlines is offering all-in return economy class promotional fares starting from RM1299 for travel from Kuala Lumpur to Katmandu. This promotional fare might slightly fluctuate due to currency exchange rates.

Customers can book these fares from now till 19 August 2012 for travel effective 1 September 2012 to 31 December 2012.

A two-class configured Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 144 economy class seats and 16 business class seats will be used for this Kuala Lumpur-Kathmandu return service.

Starting 1 September 2012, flight MH170 will depart Kuala Lumpur on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8.55am to arrive at Kathmandu at 11.30am. The return flight MH171 departs Kathmandu at 12.20pm to arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 7.15pm.
