Britain’s greatest city

Truly multicultural and infinitely vibrant, London is one of the world's greatest cities. Before you start on your journey, get a copy of the London Underground map for navigational purposes. Start from the west with the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. Stop by the Buckingham Palace and catch the iconic changing of the guards. A short walk away is the Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Another brief stroll will take you to the Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery and Leicester Square. Then, walk to the West End, where the Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden are.

Spend a truly entertaining evening in Theatreland, Chinatown and Soho. On the north of the Thames is the Tate Britain Gallery, home of British art from the year 1500. Cross the river on the Golden Jubilee Bridge and end up at the London Eye and County Hall. Enjoy a cultural extravaganza at the South Bank Centre, Tate Modern and Globe Theatre. From Tate Modern, cross over the Millennium Bridge to the St Paul's Cathedral, and finally saunter down to the city's foremost icon, the Tower of London.
