What are the elite tiers in Enrich?
Enrich has four tier levels: Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Members qualify for Blue tier upon enrollment, and can earn Silver and Gold tier status by travelling Economy, Business or First Class with Malaysia Airlines. Platinum tier status can be earned by travelling Business and First Class with Malaysia Airlines.

How do I qualify for the new tier levels?
You can qualify for the new tier levels by either accruing miles or sector credits on Malaysia Airlines.

What is an Elite Mile?
An Elite Mile is used to track an Enrich Member’s qualification towards Enrich Silver and Enrich Gold status. Elite Miles will only be accrued on Malaysia Airlines Economy Class, Golden Club Class and First Class qualifying fares. Elite Miles may not be used toward the redemption of Enrich Awards.

What is a Platinum Mile?
Platinum Miles are used to track an Enrich Member’s qualification towards Enrich Platinum Tier Status. Platinum Miles will only be accrued on qualifying Malaysia Airlines Golden Club Class and First Class fares. Platinum Miles may not be used toward the redemption of Enrich Awards.

What is an Elite Sector?
Elite Sectors are used to track an Enrich Member’s qualification towards Enrich Silver and Enrich Gold Tier Status. An Elite Sector is a flight from origin to destination which carries a single flight number. Elite Sectors will only be accrued on Malaysia Airlines operated flights on Economy Class, Golden Club Class and First Class. Elite Sectors may not be used toward the redemption of Enrich Awards.

What is a Platinum Sector?
Platinum Sectors are used to track an Enrich Member’s qualification towards Enrich Platinum Tier Status. A Platinum Sector is a flight from origin to destination which carries a single flight number. Platinum Sectors will only be accrued on Malaysia Airlines operated flights on Golden Club Class and First Class. Platinum Sectors may not be used toward the redemption of Enrich Awards.

Are there still Gold Miles in Enrich?
Gold Miles no longer exist. Members can now earn Elite Miles for obtaining Elite Silver and Elite Gold status by travelling in Economy, Business or First class on Malaysia Airlines flights.

Do the miles I earn travelling on partner airlines count towards my Enrich Elite status?
No, only miles flown on Malaysia Airlines count towards Enrich Elite status.

Do miles I earn with non-airline partners count towards Elite status?
Only miles flown on Malaysia Airlines count towards Enrich Elite status. However you can redeem the miles you earn using non-airline partners for Elite Mileage Credit up to a maximum of 10% of the total qualification criteria that can be applied towards earning or retaining your Elite status.

Do bonus miles and promotional miles count towards Elite status?
No, only miles flown on Malaysia Airlines count towards Enrich Elite status.

Do class of service miles count towards Elite status?
Yes, the extra miles you earn by travelling on Business or First class with Malaysia Airlines count towards earning and retaining your Elite status.

Do tier bonus miles count towards Elite status?
No, tier bonus miles do not count towards earning or retaining Elite status.

Do Transferred or Purchased Enrich miles count towards Elite status?
No, only miles flown on Malaysia Airlines count towards Enrich Elite status.

How long do I have to qualify for Elite Silver, Gold or Platinum tier status?
For Elite Silver and Elite Gold tier status you need to accrue the qualifying number of miles or sectors between 1 January–31 December, each year.

For Elite Platinum tier status you will have between 1 January–31 December over a three-year period to accrue the qualifying number of miles or sectors.

Once I become an Elite member do I need to re-qualify for Elite status every year?
Yes, you will need to re-qualify for elite tier status each year.

Do I need to earn the same number of miles or credits to re-qualify for my current elite tier status?
The same number of miles or sectors are required to qualify and re-qualify for Elite Silver and Elite Gold. To re-qualify for Elite Platinum you will need to earn 100,000 Platinum miles or 100 sectors between 1 January–31 December.
