Statement with regards article "Maseu in the dark"

StarBiz front page article “Maseu in the dark” dated 12 August 2014 is referred to.

Monday, 12 August 2014, Kuala Lumpur -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) denies the claims made by Maseu that they were not invited to the briefing session on 11 August 2014 by MAS Chairman and the Management team.

MAS had informed Maseu President, Alias Aziz via phone call of the said session which he chose not to attend.

All other union and employee association representatives were also invited via phone call and had attended the briefing.

MAS reiterates that it is committed to working closely with all its employees and airline partners throughout this process following the principles of fairness, transparency and compassion.
