Booking period open till 24 May 2014
Subang, 19 May 2014: Malaysia Airlines’ customers who have yet to take advantage of the national carrier’s Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair (MATF 2014) promotions that commenced on 15 May 2014, can still do so by 24 May 2014 and enjoy affordable air travel up to 31 December 2014. Discounts on airfares up to 50% on Malaysia Airlines’ popular destinations will be available to customers in Malaysia.
Malaysia Airlines’ Regional Senior Vice President Malaysia, Dato’ Muzammil Mohamad said, "The take-up rate for MATF 2014 has been very encouraging so far and we wish to thank our customers for choosing to fly with us. We urge Malaysians to take advantage of this period to book for their travels. The travel period stretches up to year-end, as such it could be a great opportunity to plan the year-end holiday” he added further.
Travellers can now fly to London from only RM2699 return as well as Frankfurt from RM2799 return, while destinations down south are going from RM1999 return to Sydney and from RM1099 return to Perth.
Ticket sales to London has been extremely encouraging and selling fast.
Return airfares to destinations like Chennai, Delhi or Kochi are from RM1099, RM1399 and RM799 respectively. All mentioned prices are for travel on Economy Class.
Meanwhile, travellers can purchase return Business Class airfares to European destinations from RM11,999, RM6249 to Sydney and RM3099 to Chennai. Other destinations on offer are Dubai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Osaka, Darwin, Krabi and many more.
These MATF deals can be booked through the national carrier’s website www.malaysiaairlines.com, its 24-hours call centre 1 300 88 3000, ticketing offices and all participating travel agents in Malaysia.
Malaysia Airlines continues to fly between 47,000 - 50,000 passengers on average each day, on some 350 flight departures daily, to more than 60 destinations across Malaysia, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
For those travelling during the holiday season, Malaysia Airlines encourages passengers to perform self-check to avoid long queues at the airport. Passengers may choose to check in via web (malaysiaairlines.com), mobile (flymas.mobi) or fast-check kiosks (at KLIA). Malaysia Airlines web check-in is open 48 hours and up to 90 minutes before departure. The web check-in is however not applicable for travel on sectors Kuala Lumpur to Bandar Seri Begawan, Kunming, Xiamen, Kathmandu, as well as sectors and code share fights operated by partner carriers.
