5S WORKSHOP
Overview

5S practices form a concept that can be applied in the workplace by workers. It can create an environment that is more conducive, clean and tidy; providing all workers treat 5S as culture - resulting in work becoming faster and easier. A major attraction of 5S is that it does not involve large capital investments, because at the heart of the concept is the belief that positive change occurs through investing in people i.e. "with every pair of hands comes a free brain". Therefore, implementation, though not cost-free, can be a low-cost investment which makes it accessible for all types of organisations. Through 5S implementation and practices, everyone in processes and work practices become a form of visible management.

I MAKE THE DIFFERENCE (IMTD)
Overview

Ever wondered what MH is? MH is Malaysian Hospitality. It is reflected in everything we do, what we were brought up to be - what makes us unique. More than just a flight code, it is our code of behaviour. It is our reminder to treat everyone as a guest; our Customer Value Proposition (CVP).

MAS's Customer Value Proposition (CVP)

"Malaysian Hospitality, Hassle Free, All The Way"

Our CVP is our winning proposition (an economic term that describes a state when our customers are won through our products and services). If we refer to the MAS Business Turnaround Plan, our CVP supports the "Flying to win customers" thrusts.

I Make The Difference Workshop (IMTD) is designed to support the Malaysia Airlines CVP. The main target would be our frontliners and everyone who serves our internal and external customers. The key behaviours that support our CVP; namely managing customers, self leadership and simulation of real-case scenarios are some of the topics to be covered in this 2-day workshop.

Objectives

At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
  • Explain MH's Customer Value Proposition (CVP) and its key behaviours correctly without reference.

  • Correctly apply the elements of CVP without reference.

  • Explain Self Leadership accurately without reference.
