1) When is MAS Stimulus Package available for booking?

The MAS Stimulus Package is open for sale from 15 April 2009. The travel period is until 31 December 2009.

3) What is Business Companion Fare?

A customer who buys a full Business Class ticket (RBD C) will qualify for 50% discount when purchasing a companion Business Class ticket. This special fare is available for purchase only from MAS Call Centre at 1 300 88 3000, Ticketing Offices and appointed travel agents.

4) Can the customer and the companion travel on different dates or sectors?

No. Both customer (referred to as the principle) and the companion must travel together all the way.

5) What is Get-the-Deal?

Get-the-Deal is a special fare for selected Domestic, Asean and International destinations and available through MAS website only. These bargain fares are available daily and open to specific groups and communities such as students, expatriates, members of the media, our Facebook fans, etc.

6) How do customers sign up for Get-the-Deal?

Go to the Get-the-Deal page on the MAS website and sign up in a few simple steps.

7) What are Balik Kampung and Weekend Getaway fares?

Balik Kampung is a special fare for travel during weekends (Saturday/Sunday) within Malaysia. Customers can enjoy all-inclusive fares from RM69 for travel within Peninsular and within East Malaysia. For travel between Peninsular and East Malaysia, the fares start from RM99. Bookings should be made at least 3 days before departure.

Weekend Getaway is available for weekend travels (Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday) within ASEAN destinations and the fare is valid all year round. Maximum stay is 2 days (e.g. depart on Friday and return on Sunday; depart on Saturday and return on Monday).

Both special deals can be purchased from the MAS website, Call Centre at 1 300 88 3000 and Ticketing Offices.

8) Is there any children/infant discount for Balik Kampung and Weekend Getaway deals?

No – the same fare applies for adults, children and infants.

9) What is Kids Fly Free?

Kids Fly Free package offers a child under 12 years of age one free ticket with every purchase of 2 adult Economy Class tickets, and available for travel in Domestic and Asean destinations.

The package is available through MAS Call Centre at 1 300 88 3000, Ticketing Offices and appointed travel agents.

10) What is Economy+?

Economy+ is about paying Economy Class price to enjoy the Business Class products and services. Reservation is open to all distribution channels i.e. MAS website, Call Centre at 1 300 88 3000, Ticketing Offices and appointed travel agents.

11) What are the differences between Economy, Economy+ and Business Class?
